Manchester United are looking to invite Luke Littler to return to Old Trafford and parade his latest trophy after completing the Triple Crown.
Littler defeated James Wade 18-13 in the World Matchplay final on Sunday, joining Phil Taylor, Michael van Gerwen, Gary Anderson and Luke Humphries on the list of players to have won the Matchplay, Premier League and World Championship.
The 18-year-old is an avid United fan and was present at Old Trafford last season when he became world champion in January.
The youngster paraded his trophy to grand applause at the Theatre of Dreams – and United are keen for Littler to return with his latest piece of silverware.
Luke Littler could return to Old Trafford soon
According to The Sun, no talks have taken place yet but the relationship between United and Littler’s camp is close and the darts starlet knows he is welcome at any time.
Littler would also welcome such an opportunity as a die-hard United fan and loves rocking up at the club, having been invited as a VIP in January.

During that occasion, he met up with club legend Sir Alex Ferguson and played darts with some of the players including Harry Maguire and Christian Eriksen at their training complex at Carrington.
However, when Littler could arrive at Old Trafford might prove problematic as United open their Premier League campaign on August 17 against Arsenal.
On that date, the Nuke will be on the other side of the world, taking part in the New Zealand Darts Masters.
But Littler’s schedule will be clear for a few weeks afterwards until the World Series of Darts Finals in Amsterdam on September 12-14.
Meanwhile, the teenager was over the moon to win the Phil Taylor Trophy – the name given to the silverware on offer at the World Matchplay.
“Phil [Taylor] is my idol – he won here 16 times and now my name will be on this trophy,” Littler told Sky Sports.

“Since I started on the tour I’ve always said to myself that as long as I win one of every major, I’ll be happy.
“I’ve only got a few left to tick off and I’ll definitely chase the majors I haven’t won yet.”
Littler is still only in his second year as a professional darts player and has been reeling off trophies for fun.
He was asked what his favourite victory has been so far, having lifted the UK Open, Premier League, Grand Slam and World Series in recent times.

And the youngster had two answers, the World Championship and the Premier League.
He said: “It has to be the Worlds. But my personal favourite?
“Obviously, the Premier League at 17, winning that on debut and all the doubters saying if I am ready or not.
“That meant the most. But picking up the worlds, I think that is the best.”
