Baltimore Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely rolled his ankle during the last rep of the team’s training-camp practice on Tuesday during a 1-on-1 drill.
Likely was carted off the field and taken to the locker room while putting little weight on his leg.
After practice ended, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh told reporters that Likely will be sidelined for a few weeks to recover.
Alongside Mark Andrews, Likely is part of the tight-end duo that has helped propel the Ravens offense into one of the best in the NFL.
Likely, 25, is scheduled to undergo an MRI tomorrow to know the full extent of the damage to his ankle.
Earlier on Tuesday, it was reported that Likely was going to receive a contract extension and a pay bump. Nothing official has been announced by the team.

Likely has been with the Ravens for his entire professional career since being drafted in the fourth round in 2022.
His star-making arrival was the season opener of 2024 against the Kansas City Chiefs, where he had nine catches and a touchdown, only not a pair of scores by an inch at the last moment of the contest.
Likely finished last season with 42 catches with 477 receiving yards and six touchdowns. The tight end also caught a touchdown in the Divisional round last year against the Buffalo Bills.
The Ravens again are viewed as a Super Bowl contender, alongside the Chiefs and the Bills in the AFC.
