Wedding bells are on the horizon for Collingwood superstar Josh Daicos and his glamorous fiancée Annalise Dalins, who are due to tie the knot at the end of the 2026 AFL season.
It’s been a busy off-season for the couple who have been living with Daicos’ parents while they renovate their Melbourne home.
Alongside the refurb, the pair are also planning out their wedding, with Daicos revealing to Stellar Magazine that he has toyed with the idea of wearing a white suit for the big day.
The Magpies midfielder and his model fiancée will be getting married interstate at an outdoor venue, while Dalins is yet to decide on her wedding gown.
Ahead of the big day, the smitten couple revealed that they might have to get a special wedding band cut for Daicos, who recounted some of the injuries he has sustained in recent years – including a compound fracture to his wedding finger.
‘I tackled my opponent and looked down at my finger and it was almost at a right angle,’ the Collingwood midfielder told Stellar.

‘This finger has never been the same.’
Humorously, Daicos added: ‘I have to fix that. I’m going to tell the surgeon to straighten it.
‘I don’t think a ring is getting on…’
The 23-year-old, who is the brother of fellow Magpies superstar Nick, said that he might have to get a ‘half-undone’ band, but accepted that this was ‘just a part of footy’.
Dalins has also given her fiancé a nickname: ‘HAB’.
The abbreviation stands for ‘husband and boyfriend,’ akin to the phrase ‘WAG’, which stands for ‘wives and girlfriends’.
‘I ask his advice. I like to joke that Josh is my “HAB” because he shows up for me as much as I show up for him,’ she added, noting that Daicos spends a lot of time behind the camera, helping his partner with her work.
Speaking on the term WAG, the Deakin University student said that while that phrase ‘used to have negative connotations’ she added that she ‘didn’t think about it or identify with it, because I have my own things going on.’

Dalins has a busy schedule, with the model spending much of her time flicking between her modelling career and her commerce studies at Deakin University.
Her soon-to-be husband paid homage to his fiancée, claiming that she often adjusted her schedule and life around his demanding AFL schedule.
‘Partners of athletes do so much,’ the Collingwood star said. ‘I have routines, and she works around them.
‘When we’re in season, we’re so dedicated and disciplined that oftentimes, [partners] have to forgo some of their own experiences.’
He and Annalise first met back in 2021 after bumping into each other at a bar on Melbourne’s Chapel Street.
‘As soon as I saw her, I saw her smile and it made it so easy to go over and talk to her, and conversation just flowed,’ Daicos told 9Honey.
They hit it off quickly and went on their first official date at a rooftop pizza and wine bar in Hawthorn.

And three years later, the happy couple announced that they were engaged, with Josh popping the question during a romantic getaway to Greece in 2024.
The 2022 Miss Universe Australia runner-up, who dazzled in a stunning white gown at the 2025 Brownlow Medal Awards, lifted the lid on the moment that Daicos came and spoke to her.
‘I was super quiet, which is unlike me,’ Dalins said to Stellar. ‘I couldn’t believe it when he came up to me.
‘It turns out we’d lived a street away from each other our whole lives.’
