Cole Palmer jetted off to Dubai for some winter sun on Valentine’s Day with girlfriend Olivier Holder.

While his Chelsea team-mates swatted aside Hull in their 4-0 FA Cup victory on Friday night, the England star headed out to the middle east.

Holder has been documenting the romantic getaway on her Instagram and posted pictures with Palmer.

In one, Palmer can be seen in the reflection of a hotel room mirror in the background, while she takes the snap holding a bouquet of flowers.

Another shows the gifts she’s been showered with, including a Chanel bag.

They are understood to have spent the night at GAL in Dubai, a restaurant providing Turkish-Mediterranean cuisine.

The Japanese wagyu beef sets customers back £800 at the luxury establishment. The couple have been together since late last year and this was their first Valentine’s Day together.

Another picture on Holder’s Instagram story showed her lying on a sun lounger on the beach with Palmer standing a few yards away.

Palmer’s minutes are being managed carefully by manager Liam Rosenior, meaning he played no part against Hull.

He has endured a difficult campaign, suffering various injuries that have kept him out of action for the Stamford Bridge club.

Palmer will be back in training after the short break and return to Cobham next week ahead of their Premier League clash with Burnley at home.

It was the attacking midfielder who passed up a golden chance last weekend to snatch all three points against Leeds.

He contrived to fire over from two yards out in stoppage time with the open goal at his mercy.

Palmer had earlier doubled the Chelsea advantage with a penalty before the home side were stunned by a comeback from Daniel Farke’s men.

The Blues are currently fifth in the table, two points ahead of Liverpool in the race for the Champions League places.
