Man United’s highest-earners revealed after huge transfer deal for Benjamin Sesko

Benjamin Sesko is on the verge of completing a big-money move to Manchester United, but he won’t be joining the club’s top earners just yet.

The 22-year-old forward has arrived in Manchester to undergo a medical ahead of finalising a £73.8million transfer from RB Leipzig.

He is expected to be part of a revamped attack under new manager Ruben Amorim, joining fellow signings Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo as United look to bounce back from a disappointing season.

Despite widespread interest and United’s absence from European competition, the club has pulled off a major coup in attracting one of Europe’s most sought-after young strikers.

Man United are on the verge of signing Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig

But rather than inflating his salary to secure the deal, United appear to have remained disciplined in their wage offer.

According to reports, Sesko will earn £160,000 per week at Old Trafford – which takes him to eighth on their list of highest earners.

However, Sesko’s deal reportedly includes a performance clause that could see his wages rise to £200,000 per week if United qualify for the Champions League.

This would push him up to fifth on the list.

While United have often been criticised for overpaying underperforming players, the club appears to be adopting a more measured approach this window.

Antony, who may be heading for the exit, continues to earn £105,000-a-week. Luke Shaw, despite ongoing injury struggles, is on £150,000 weekly.

In contrast, several young and impactful players remain on relatively modest deals.

Kobbie Mainoo, one of last season’s breakout stars, earns £25,000 per week, while Patrick Dorgu is at £40,000.

Rising talent Alejandro Garnacho takes home £50,000 weekly, though he is expected to leave for Chelsea.

With less than a month to go until the Premier League season kicks off, Sesko’s arrival is seen as a major step forward in reshaping the squad.

But it’s his performance on the pitch, not just his wage packet, that fans will be hoping lives up to the price tag.
