The New York Jets are placing their franchise tag on Breece Hall, according to reports.
Hall, who will enter his fifth season with the team later this year, completed his four-year, $9million rookie contract in New York last season.
Multiple reports emerged on Tuesday claiming the Jets have placed the franchise tag on their star running back for $14.29m, which takes him off the free agent market and allows the two parties to negotiate a long-term deal.
