Maxx Crosby could be traded away by the Las Vegas Raiders this week, with seven teams reportedly chasing the star defensive end.

The 28-year-old has established himself as one of the NFL’s most exciting defensive players since being drafted 106th overall by the Raiders in 2019.

Back in March 2025, he signed a three-year, $106.5milllion contract with Las Vegas – whose ownership group includes Tom Brady.

The deal included $91.5m guaranteed and an average annual salary of $35.5m but Crosby’s future in Las Vegas has been uncertain since he walked out of the Raiders training facility amid a spat over injury.

And Sports Illustrated reports that Crosby could be on his way out in the coming days, with a host of teams eyeing a possible move for the 28-year-old.

The Dallas Cowboys, Chicago Bears, Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots, Philadelphia Eagles and Los Angeles Rams are reportedly all ‘keeping tabs on his availability.’

Crosby has become a key player in Las Vegas and Sports Illustrated reports that the defensive end has a ‘good working relationship’ with general manager John Spytek.

But the defensive end wants to be on a winning team and the Raiders are starting another rebuild after a disastrous campaign under Pete Carroll.

Klint Kubiak has taken as head coach, with the Raiders expected to use the No 1 overall pick to take rookie quarterback, Fernando Mendoza.

Crosby has been linked with a trade after being shut down – much to his disappointment – for the end of the 2025 season.

It was reported that the 28-year-old needed surgery on a knee injury. He was then placed on season-ending injured reserve.

But Crosby had reportedly been ‘fighting’ to play and ‘vehemently disagreed’ with the decision. He then sent a pointed message to the Raiders by posting several clips of himself shooting hoops at home, where he could be seen running around the court.

In other photos, Crosby could be seen jumping on a trampoline with his young daughter.
