David Beckham‘s former manager has threatened his UFC son-in-law after claims the fighter cheated on his wife with another man.

Andy Bernal, a former soccer star who represented Australia 21 times and later became Beckham’s right-hand man at Real Madrid, has launched a furious attack on UFC lightweight Dan ‘Hangman’ Hooker following the explosive allegations.

The controversy began when an Instagram influencer using the handle @keekgrace alleged she had been Hooker’s ‘side chick’ for two years.

She claimed the fighter funded her lifestyle, bought her expensive gifts and gave her access to his finances.

In a series of posts and videos, some later deleted, she further alleged that Hooker had relations with another man during his marriage.

Hooker wasted little time responding on X, pleading innocence in a post captioned, ‘What I miss?’

Bernal, Who Used To Manage David Beckham, Challenged Hooker Directly, Questioning His Toughness Beyond The Octagon

Bernal, who used to manage David Beckham, challenged Hooker directly, questioning his toughness beyond the octagon

‘No s***, I’m gay now??? Nothing like a woman scorned.’

While large sections of social media turned the saga into memes and punchlines, Bernal made it clear he was not laughing.

The 59-year-old former defender posted a direct video message aimed squarely at his son-in-law.

‘This is a message for Dan Hooker. Tough guy. UFC fighter, yeah. All I’ve seen lately is you getting your ass kicked in the cage,’ Bernal said.

‘You know, years ago, I wrote in my book, my autobiography, that you are a good man, but time has shown that you are a piece of s**t.’

Bernal framed his anger around protecting his daughter and grandchildren.

‘My daughter and my granddaughters deserve better. They don’t deserve a piece of s**t like you.’

He then delivered a direct challenge.

The Rumours About Hooker (Pictured Right) Came As He Suffered A Difficult Run In The Lightweight Division, Having Dropped His Last Two Fights

The rumours about Hooker (pictured right) came as he suffered a difficult run in the lightweight division, having dropped his last two fights

‘You want to deal with this? You come and see me face to face, if you’re a man.’

Hooker, 36, is currently on a two-fight losing streak inside the octagon. But it is the chaos outside the cage that now threatens to overshadow his fighting career.

Bernal is no stranger to turmoil. Born in Canberra to Spanish migrants, he became a 21-time Socceroo, earning 13 full A international caps and captaining Australia’s youth sides.

As a teenager he moved to Spain after being noticed by Vicente del Bosque, signed with Sporting Gijón and later had stints in England, including a long spell at Reading, where he played more than 200 games and ran out at Wembley.

His playing career was repeatedly hampered by serious knee injuries, forcing him to grind through multiple operations before eventually retiring.

He then reinvented himself as a player agent, first signing Socceroos and Everton great Tim Cahill and later becoming David Beckham’s ‘right-hand man’ during the superstar’s blockbuster move to Real Madrid.

In Madrid, Bernal described high-speed paparazzi pursuits, phone hacking and illegal surveillance as part of daily life during the Galácticos era, claiming security briefings and near-miss car crashes became routine.

That chapter eventually ended amid the fallout from Britain’s tabloid phone-hacking scandal and the personal toll the chaos took on him, a period he later admitted spiralled into addiction before he rebuilt his life.

Hooker has not responded directly to Bernal’s challenge beyond his initial social media posts.
