Darts sensation Luke Littler showed his generosity on Friday evening, footing the bill for approximately 15 mates to join him at the rugby league.
The 19-year-old world champion, a devoted Warrington Wolves supporter, was spotted at the Halliwell Jones Stadium as his team kicked off their campaign with a victory against St Helens.
Speaking to Sky Sports during the interval, Littler expressed his delight: “Brilliant first-half display. Me and about 15 of us lads, we’ve come here tonight.
“I’ve paid for the tickets, help the lads out, but what a performance so far.”
Warrington Wolves secured a convincing 24-14 triumph in their opening round fixture, with Sam Burgess’s side dominating the first period.
Toby King, Cai Taylor-Wray and Albert Hopoate all crossed the whitewash before half-time to give Warrington a commanding advantage.
St Helens mounted a response after the break through Jack Welsby and Tristan Sailor, but Josh Thewlis added another try to seal the victory for the hosts, with Kyle Feldt managing only a late consolation for the visitors.

At the interval, Littler accepted an invitation from the club to showcase his World Darts Championship trophy to supporters.
The trophy parade came just days after he performed a similar presentation at Old Trafford during Manchester United’s 2-0 win against Tottenham Hotspur.
Littler’s appearance at the rugby came weeks after he made history by becoming the first darts player to claim a £1million world championship prize.

His dominant performance saw him join an elite group including Phil Taylor, Adrian Lewis and Gary Anderson as back-to-back world champions, having made a sensational debut run to the final two years prior.
Reflecting on the prize money after his victory, Littler said: “It is life-changing for anyone.
“Even the first round was doubled.
“It’s life-changing, this win has just increased that gap from Luke Humphries and I’m in the clear as world number one.”
Despite his celebratory mood at the rugby, Littler disclosed that he has been battling illness in recent days.
