The guitarist revealed his astonishment at audience reactions throughout the current tour. “Yeah, completely blown away. Everyone is. It’s difficult to put it into words actually,” Gallagher admitted when discussing crowd responses.

“Every night is the crowd’s first night, so every night has got that kind of same energy to it. It’s been truly amazing. I’m not usually short for words but I can’t really articulate it at the minute.”

When pressed about potential Knebworth performances following their legendary 1996 concerts, Gallagher swiftly changed topics.

“Right, let’s talk about football,” he responded, avoiding speculation about returning to the Hertfordshire venue.
