Noel Gallagher has identified River Plate’s stadium in Buenos Aires as the most anticipated venue for Oasis’s reunion tour.
Speaking to talkSPORT on Tuesday, the guitarist singled out the Argentine ground when questioned about which upcoming location excites the band most.

The guitarist positioned Argentina among Oasis’s premier global destinations for performances.
“The Argentinians are without doubt in the top five places for us to play in the world and it’s the furthest away from Ireland and Manchester,” he explained during the interview.
The South American performances represent a significant milestone in Oasis’s extensive reunion schedule, which encompasses venues across North America, Asia and Europe.
The 85,018-capacity Estadio Monumental previously welcomed Oasis during their 2009 tour, shortly before the brothers’ acrimonious split. That performance has since gained legendary status among fans, becoming one of their most viewed concerts online.
River Plate’s home ground has staged four Oasis concerts throughout their career. The venue, which hosted the 1978 World Cup final, regularly accommodates major musical acts alongside football matches.
The Buenos Aires shows are positioned as the penultimate stop on their global itinerary.
“It’s the second last show and we’ve played there a couple of times,” Gallagher noted.

The guitarist revealed his astonishment at audience reactions throughout the current tour. “Yeah, completely blown away. Everyone is. It’s difficult to put it into words actually,” Gallagher admitted when discussing crowd responses.
“Every night is the crowd’s first night, so every night has got that kind of same energy to it. It’s been truly amazing. I’m not usually short for words but I can’t really articulate it at the minute.”
When pressed about potential Knebworth performances following their legendary 1996 concerts, Gallagher swiftly changed topics.
“Right, let’s talk about football,” he responded, avoiding speculation about returning to the Hertfordshire venue.
